Alexander Technique and Stained Glass in Woodbridge and Southwold, Suffolk

I was born in Surrey in 1951. In 1973, I took my degree at New College, Oxford where I read English. After University I worked at The Blue Cross, Animal Welfare Society and qualified as a Chartered Secretary.

In 1981 I retrained as a Systems Analyst, designing computer systems for Abbey National building society, the Stock Exchange and for two merchant banks, Schroders and Flemings.

Then in 1990 I found my true vocation and trained as a teacher of the Alexander Technique and as a homeopath. I trained with the Dick and Elisabeth Walker at the Oxford Alexander Training School and with Anthony Bickley at the British School of Homeopathy.

I built a busy practice in Oxford and Woodstock from 1993 until 2001 when I moved to Woodbridge in Suffolk. I now live in a little village called Boyton close to Woodbridge with my wife, Ali Crawford.
In 2017 I retired as a Homeopath, but continue to practise as an Alexander teacher.

I have published on a book on the Alexander Technique: Wake Up and Notice with Interest.

I am a member of the

British Register of Complementary Practitioners

I work from home at The Smithy, Boyton near Woodbridge and at the Sole Bay Health Centre, Reydon, Southwold.

In addition to my work as an Alexander teacher, I am lucky enough to have a studio at the end of my garden where I work on my stained glass windows. I learned my stained glass making skills at the Oxford Summer School under the tuition of Nicola Kantorowicz FMGP
